Dominique Ansel Cookie Shot Mold

Dominique Ansel worked with Flexipan to create these flexible, heat-resistant, silicon molds for baking their iconic Chocolate Chip Cookie Shots at home. I’ve tried them out, and can vouch that they are incredibly easy to use. The mold makes six cookie shots at a time, and costs $49.95. It’s available exclusively at Williams Sonoma, and at Dominique Ansel’s shops.

The Balmuda Toaster Oven

I was perfectly happy with my $20 Amazon pop-up toaster oven, until the Balmuda toaster oven arrived on my doorstep. The Balmuda toaster oven uses steam technology to toast the surface of your bread (or baked good- see cookie above) to golden perfection while keeping the inside perfectly soft. It has different modes for pastries, breads, and pizza, as well as oven functionality.

I used the toaster to reheat these mail-order Last Crumb cookies and the results were incredible (click here to see).

Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer Pasta Attachments

This trio of pasta attachments is the perfect accessory for every Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer owner. They screw into the front of the mixer, and make cooking homemade pasta an effortless endeavor. One attachment rolls the pasta dough into flat sheets, one cuts the pasta into tagliatelle, and one cuts the pasta into spaghetti. They’re easy to clean, and store, and make for a great gift for any home cook who is a pasta lover!

Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) from NYC’s Hottest Restaurants

This year, many of New York City’s hottest restaurants began to jar up their best-selling products to reach a larger audience. Two of my favorite CPG lines include Rubirosa’s at-home sauces and pastas, and Momofuku’s at-home ramen and chili crunch condiment. You’ll find many of these products at fine foods markets throughout the country, and they’re also available online for nationwide shipping. Any of these products would be a great gift for the New York City loving foodies in your life!

Dominique Ansel’s Christmas Morning Cereal

Dominique Ansel’s signature Christmas Morning Cereal is a gourmet cereal blend made with Valrhona Caramelia covered crispy puffed rice, smoked cinnamon mini meringues, and candied hazelnuts. You can enjoy it right out of the box, in a bowl with cold milk, or in any other way you see fit! To me, it reads as more of a dessert than a breakfast, but I loved it. It’s the perfect holiday gift for any foodie with a sweet tooth.
